Some Bose Head unit explanation please
Hi all:
I had an issue with the buttons on the stock BOSE head unit in my '03 vert without the rear mounted 12 dics CD changer. I bought a used unit locally from a 'guy' at a fair price and then put it on a shelf. I finally got around to installing this weekend and noticed that the one I bought had a different....or actually lack of....connector.
Below is file pic from the parts section here on CF.
The first pic is like the radio in the car...
The second pic is like the radio I bought.....
Can someone tell me the difference?

Actually, I just relooked at the second pic I posted, and it may not be exactly like the unit I bought. The unit I bought had a 'hollow' area under the main connector. Also, I don't know for sure how many pins are in the top connector....I'll have to look again when I get home.
