C5 Pre-Cut Mad-Mat Full Insulation Kit

$185 plus $20 shipping in the continental USA.

DOWNLOAD THE INSTRUCTIONS HERE!!!

The MadVette C5 Pre-cut Mad-Mat Insulation kit comes with everything you need to insulate and provide sound deadening in your Corvette, including Pre-cut pieces for your doors.

Other kits on the market provide a similar product, but do not provide pre-cut pieces for your doors, which allow road noise to be present in your front cabin. Our kit gives you everything you need to COMPLETELY insulate your C5 Corvette.

Our kit is a non-fiberglass, non-asphalt based product which weighs in at 3.5 lbs, for those who are weight conscious, it rejects 97% of the radiant heat, and has a manufacturer's rating of 19db of sound and road noise reduction!!! (please see the notes below on this... )
It is only 3/16" thick, so as not to interfere with proper mounting of your panels and seats, and all holes are pre-cut & all pieces are clearly labeled for your convenience.
It is our #1 goal to provide you ease of install, while making a HUGE improvement in your overall enjoyment of your Corvette!!!
Each kit is hand cut to our specifications, and guaranteed to make a dramatic difference in your C5!!!

Each kit comes with the following pieces:
  • Driver & Passenger front floorboard pieces, with holes cut for seat bolts and pedals.
  • Driver & Passenger side tunnel pieces, cut around your e-brake.
  • Full center console pieces, with holes for the center console bolts.
  • Driver & Passenger side Door Panel pieces.
  • Full Cargo area floor pieces.
  • Full Side rear wheel well pieces.
  • Full back wall and corner pieces.
  • Full Center Well pre-cut pieces.
  • Z06 % FRC come with roof pieces.
  • Extra pieces for odds and ends coverage that you may need.

Say goodbye to over-heated center consoles, and noisy front cabins!! Our C5 kit is the perfect addition to your C5, and is recommended for every Corvette owner as the #1 modification for their Corvette!!!
Your Corvette will be cooler in the summer, alot less noisy, and you will regain use of your center console once again.

Alot of research and development has gone into this kit, and we are proud to say that our kit is made to our demanding specs, in house, and cut off of our own templates.

Some have emailed and asked, so here is a picture of the material, as well as some specs on the material itself:

It has 5 layers, and though it is rated at a 19db drop in noise, my customers have tested it in the Vettes at 8-11 db. reduction. Here are some manufacturer specs on it:

Characteristics | Value | Regulation
Cell Structure: Closed
Nominal Thickness: 5 mm (+ or - 0.5mm)
Steam Permeability: 0.033 gr/m2hkPa ASTM E-96
Noise Insulation: 19dBA IRAM 4063 at 50hz.
Flame Spread Index/Class: 25 or less/ "A" - Class 1 0 ASTM E-84
Smoke Index/Class: 450 or less/ "A" - Class 1 15 ASTM E-84

Did the kit in my wife's C6 and it is a lot quieter and cooler in the cab and cargo area. I some pics of the install that I will post later.

Strangest thing... The car is even more quiet when she is not in the car with me. I don't get it but that nagging sound seems to go away!!!

Get the kit and kick the wife out and all is good with the world!!!

All kidding aside, this is a great product for everyone!!!

Ordered a kit from you on the 18th of October and paid for it by Paypal. I have not received any feedback from you at all about the status of my order. I have emailed you on Tuesday and called on Wednesday and Thursday with no reply. My order number is 11255. Would sure like an update on the status or even if you have the order. Thanks

I ordered a kit September 16, six weeks ago today, and am still waiting to receive it. I also paid through PayPal.

I've been told twice it was shipping that day or the next, once by PM and once on the phone. The most recent time was two weeks ago.

On the website my order status still shows as, "pending" and "payment received."

I'm, otherwise, ready to start my project.

I can be patient and am not trying to be unreasonable, but any way you stack it this is poor customer service. A straight answer would go a long way.

I'm on the verge of cancelling the order, filing a dispute through PayPal - to get re-imbursed, and ordering from a competitor.

I did receive the order, and you should have received an email confirmation that your order was received and paid for. I was out of town working on a client's Corvette for SEMA from Friday to now. I will check on the status of the order tomorrow, and if you'd like, you can call me at the shop.

Alan,

As I mentioned to you earlier, you should have already received it 2 weeks ago, but since you haven't, and I checked on it today, as I promised I would when I returned from working in FL., I am going to send you another kit at no charge.

We fill all orders in the order they were shipped. Typical wait time is less than 2 weeks from order to arrival, usually, involving a week, depending on your location, for shipping. If we have any problems from a material supplier, or I am out of town working, these things may delay the order.
Rest assured, all orders are filled, and each customer is ultimately very happy with the results, as we are the only vendor to offer such a high quality item for a fair price. All kits are cut by hand, in house, and never leave, until I inspect each order.
Any questions, please feel free to email or call anytime.
