Default 2003 headlight mounting bracket travel stop tab

Does anyone have an idea of where I can purchase headlight mounting bracket travel stop tab insulators for my 2003 coupe? I've contacted the local dealership in Phoenix, AZ. and was told the part has been discontinued, they gave me a GM part # of 16524060. I've also looked at Eckler's, GM parts house and Mid America and can't find them on any of these sites.

Thanks

The little white plastic things that push on the tabs? If so, dont know if you've noticed but there are two more up on top of the light where the bucket/carrier comes to rest when the lights are fully open (they face the rear of the car, up by the fender). They are all the same size and you can pull one of those and at least get the lights back assembled. Possibly tape that top tab until you can find a suitable replacement. It's not a "high tec" part so Im pretty sure you are going to improvise something that will work just fine until you find oem replacements.

Good Luck

Thanks, the "white plastic things" are exactly what I'm looking for. I did see the two on top of the light and thought exactly what you suggested however still want to find somewhere to purchase them to replace all eight. Without these insulators your metal to metal on the actuator assembly and all of mine are yellowing and cracking.

Let me know what you find I have to replace them also and was told the same thing . My motor housing backed off and I used the others as a temporary fix but chewed threw those really quick before I got a chance to fix it. SO I need all of them

I think I'll give that a shot just for now since the glue came apart and chewed up my last tab.
