Hello

I have a question....

I just purchased a C5 from California I need it shipped to Ohio. I would like some suggestion on a carrier. I know there are a lot of scams out there.

I want a safe truncation without any issues.

Please help.

Thanks

I have used Thomas Sunday, Inc. They are super, all carriers are enclosed.
I highly recommend them

If you have the time, fly out and drive it home. No better way to get familiar with your car than a 3 day drive.

I agree. Pick it up and drive it. I wouldnt trust a carrier unless I was there to see them load it up. Thing that concerns me is if they say they will cover damages blah blah blah.....anything shy of a damn fire may never get caught. If you damaged a car loading it up, but it wasnt noticable...would you tell the owner? I hope the answer would be yes and I am sure it would be for most of us. But this is the real world where no one cares anymore.

Interstae has transported 3 cars for me from the west coast to the east coast - a Jag, a Lambo and a Rolls. No problems with the shipment and I knew aprox location of each car on every day during transit.

I shipped my vette last Nov from CA to WI for a job relocation. I went through an auto transport broker called Crowley. There's lots of brokers out there. Gave him the pick up & deliver to addresses and requested enclosed trailer to minimize chance of rock chips. He came back with a price cheaper then my company's relo department did for an open trailer. DAS was who actually showed up to take the car. They showed up on on time & did a pre loading inspection. They were very careful with it and put a car cover on it once on the trailer. They had all luxury & muscle cars on the trailer. I was happy with the price from Crowley & service by the DAS driver. FWIW.

Do a search on DAS (dependable auto shippers). Many forum members have had bad experiences with them.
