I just installed a set of Halo tail lights I bought used. They are non-modded. The seller said he did not have a hyperflash problem, but I hooked them up and they do hyperflash.
Now my bigger problem is after about 5 or 10 seconds they stop flashing all together. Neither front or back, or the instrument panel light will work. 4way Flashers still function normally. After a few minutes they will work again for about 5 seconds... Is a relay "over heating" or something from the hyperflash?
Why would they hyperflash for me, but not for the seller? He said he didn't have a hyperflash harness installed.
Do the plugs go into the LED tails a certain way? They fit either direction...
Thanks,

It could be the hazard switch going bad...My car does the same thing and if I turn on the flashers they work and then so do the signals, for a while.
Thanks HowlinC5!
After I posted that I searched some more and found threads about the hazard switch problem. So... I went back outside, took out the HALO's, plugged the original bulbs back in and sure enough they still didn't work right! Looks like it's the flasher going bad!
