I have purchased some Cray Scorpions with BFG KDW tires on them from another forum member. My current wheels are stock thinspokes with the TPMS, the new ones don't have sensors.
Am I going to get a warning every time I start the car? If so, can it be tuned out?
On a semi-related note I will probably sell the polished thinspokes, TPMS, and Goodyear Eagle F1 tires as a package. About 15k miles on the tires. Any advice on how much to ask for the package?
You can not "tune" them out on years 2000 and older. With that said, I guess I am one of the lucky ones as my 2000 rarely gives me the message when I run without the sensors during the winter months.

According to you profile - you have a '99. You cannot turn off the feature. It wasn't until the 2001 model year - with the introduction of the Z06 which never had the TPMS that the feature could be turned off. If you choose to run without TPMS, then you will get the messages on the DIC, and your only choice is to hit reset anytime it appears.
1997 – 2000 the sensors cannot be tuned out but on 2001 – 2004 they can be. I agree about getting some installed, I like ability of detecting slow leaks before its too late.
