Well, I had my C5 Z06 painted, so I decided to change the color from Black to Arctic White b/c I have always loved white C5 Z06's. Reason I went with Acrtic White over Speedway White is b/c I wanted a PURE white and SW is alittle yellowish/pearl or something. I actually got the car back a month ago but decided it was time to see what you guys think about it. The before pics were taken with a very good Nikon camera, the new pics are with my crappy iPhone. Let me know your opinions......
Before:
Before: iPhone pics and C6 Z06 wheels
AFTER: Acrtic White Paint job. KB cowl hood, tinted Lights, CCW Big Street Classic's, Lowered alittle more!! CRAPPY IPHONE PICS
looks good but it hurt the value for the cost of painting it back to the original color again.
I don't think a used black C5 Z06 is exactly a collector's item. They keep losing value yearly. Considering how cheap they are, the owner might as well paint the car any color he likes, really.
Thanks guys... Yeah not really concerned about hurting the value b/c the car is FAR from factory anyways. It'll take the right buyer "IF" I sold it b/c the car is VERY far from factory. Fully built motor with a YSi blower, built 6 spd, 6 point roll bar ect....

Really? Quite honestly I dont think theres much value to hurt. There are far too many black Z06's around for this to affect the value at all. If anything it may help; theres plenty of ppl wishing there were white 02-04 Z06's and would pay a bit more for one with a nice paint job.
C5's will not be a collectors item anytime soon and by soon I mean in our lifetime; unless GM stops making Corvettes in the next few years or put V6's in them.
Looks good, I like to see painters that actually take cars apart to paint them completely and correctly; you'd be surprised by how many there are that do not.
