I am in West Texas and know how hot it can get. I would tint the sides and back as dark as you can legally and the get a reflective sunshade made for the vette to keep the sun off of the dash. Put a towel over the steering wheel to keep it cool.

Lately our police force has been out writing a lot more tickets. State revenue is down, crime seems to be ticking up a bit with folks out of work and getting desperate. Don't go below that ANS-1 line, they will see it and stop you.

Looks like you can't go darker than 25% on the sides.
Currently running 35% tint on the sides and Limo tint rear. Would Probably do 25% on the front above the AS1.

Yeah the rear is fine as long as you have side mirrors. The sides are too dark, but chances are you'll be fine unless there is someone out looking to write folks up. I think our cars would get noticed a bit more, but just guessing...Good luck. Get a good reflective sunshade, the ANS-1 tint wont do a thing for the heat in the cabin. It is normally only on a factory window to give some relief from the sun when it's low in the sky. Isn't much help really.
