I can't imagine driving a lowered Vette. I can't even get out of my driveway without dragging the front spoiler, as it is. With the roads around here, it would be dragging constantly.
I'd love to lower mine, but if I did there would be nothing left on the bottom side in less then a week.
Seems like the state of Florida take great pains to make highly crowned roads and steep driveways.
I live on a state road and when they resurfaced it 2 years ago I had to make them come back and fix the end of my driveway so I could get in and out w/o bottoming my wife's G6.

I love mine lowered. It's all the way on stock bolts. The only problem is where I live there's lots of dips and bumps and I scrape every time I take it out. I love the look and handling though so no complaints there.
I will eventually put some coilovers and lower it a good bit but, not slammed. When I had my 98 z28 I had that thing lowered with qa1 coilovers up front and bmr springs in the rear. Loved the look but, here in Hawaii the speed bumps are the size of a small mountain and it seems like every entrance to anywhere is a steep *** incline. But as soon as I get the $$ I will put some lg coilovers on the vette and enjoy the ride.

I wanted my car low. I just had to have that look. I blame JETZ for that...
The only draw back is that you just need to be more "aware" of your roads, and pay attention far ahead of where you drive if your not familiar with the area.
Lowering on the stock suspension made it drive quite bumpy.
Adding LG GT2 coil overs made it drive WAY better that it did at stock height...
Handling is AMAZING now compared to stock suspension at any height.
Lowered mine on the stock bolts (with an alignment) and like it visually and it feels better to me. I do have to be far more careful, but no big issues yet...

I can have my cake, and eat it too...
Hi Mark,
Your wheels look really nice.
Can you tell me the brand of your wheels, size, etc. What are the size of tires? I have a 2000 conv. and want to modified the wheels soon. Thanks

I would love to but my house sits lower than the street with a decent size curb in between, so when the front wheels start to go down the driveway the curb comes within an inch of the frame (I wasn't able to fit 2 fingers under the car). I still might try it, worst case I wont be able to get out of the driveway and have to raise it a little

Your car already looks kinda low (from the profile pic)...
And you could get up that driveway with more of an angle...

I assumed it is stock from the size of the gaps in the fenders. Even pulling into my driveway at an extreme angle will be close as once my front wheels start to go down the driveway the curb gets close. I plan on changing the oil in the next few weeks so I'll double check the bolts then
Edit: I just caught your reference, I was cheating, the car is parked on the other side of a grass divider in the parking lot
