Default Cheapest c5?

I was just wondering what the cheapest C5 deal (not wrecked/salvage) has been on here? Just curious on how good a deal I got.

1997 Coupe
102,000 miles
$11,000
Mods came with: Magnaflow Magnapack straight pipes/x-pipe Exhaust, Carbon Fiber door sills
Condition: all updated maint., immaculate paint/exterior/interior zero fading, heated/garage kept by guy in 50s, New ZR tires

-only negative mark for some reason, despite rest of car immaculate, targa roof is scratched up

Sounds like you got a good deal, the cheapest I've seen is $8,000 for a 1997 Torch Red coupe w/ 150K miles on the clock.

It was in the C5s for sale section of this Forum--sounded like a steal!

C5s get cheaper every day. It will be a long time before any of them go up in value. Great deal, enjoy your car!

Sounds like you got a good deal. As long as you're happy with the purchase, that's what matters.

cheaper does not necessarily mean better.

could turn out to cost more than one costing just a little more money.

Dang.... I paid $14,500 for my 98 Coupe 71,000miles I think I stole it! Then dumped another $10,000 in upgrades and mods.....still think I stole it!

Maybe another $10,000 into it I might think I bought it righteous!!!!

Typically people that own this type of cars know what they are worth.
So if you think you have a good deal, you need to inspected it even more closely.
Buying 2k less than going price, doesn't do you any good if you have to put 3k into it with the first 6 months of ownership. Not to mention the aggravation and stress.
However sometimes you can run into someone that is selling due to financial issues.

Buy when your ready...make your best deal and live with it.

I hate to hear about anything near buyers remorse...

I'd say you got a decent deal......more importantly yours is in pretty good condition w some mods.....many are dogged out, have not been taken care of and have no mods. You should be happy.

You get what you pay for. That sounds like a nice deal as long as you are happy with it. I just bought a 1998 vert this summer for 17,500 sounds like i paid too much but, i am happy so it was a good deal. The car looked like it came from a showroom . Ultimately condition is the biggest consideration. Good luck enjoy....................

There have been better deals and worse deals from what I've seen. Seems you're right in the middle somewhere.
