Front spring question

Front spring question

Are there suppose to be nuts on the bolt that goes through the front spring. All mine has is a push washer on it. I ask because I'm trying trace a noise in the front end. I pulled the tires off the front and there was no nut on the bolt. Thanks Laurence

No "stop nuts" on the front spring bolts. The bottom of the bolt has a rubber foot that contacts the spring and keeps the bolt from turning.

Thanks, Thats what I thought but I'm trying to find the noise in the left front and nothing is loose that I can find.
