POLL and Questions regarding disabling DRL's
Ok so I looked and found 3 ways to do it:
Pull the #2 fuse under the hood
Put a jumper in the Relay #38/40 spots in the fuse box located in the passenger footwell
Put isolator in place after removing the dust cover of the relay and reinstall (still not 100% on how to do that
I pulled my #2 fuse. I dont care about the alarm light or the drl's being out due to this. All will throw codes for DRL's being out....
Please list pros or cons to doing this. I alsoadded a poll to see what others have done. Thanks.

Depending on how sloppy your E brake is, you can pull to first click to turn them off as well.

I agree, but the thought of riding with the ebrake engaged even if its one click is a no go for me.
Thanks for responding

the jumper is an easy to create item and even easier to install and be done with it.

Mine are disabled by jumping the relay. I would of rather kept them but they had to be disabled to pass the UK test.

I did the same but the switchbacks still act as a yellow drl...was hoping they would act as a white drl.

They've never bugged me so I left them alone.

I pulled 38 & 40 DRL relays in the passenger footwell fusebox. Removed the cover on each relay and put a piece of paper/card inside to block points. No codes and DRLs do not work. I tried jumper method, but got codes.
my 2 cents

The "Look at me and write me a speeding ticket" DRLs have been disabled since the second week I had Ol Red. No tickets, either!
The approach lights work with this method but do not with the pulled fuse.
