I have a reoccurring "Service AH/TC + Reduced Engine Power" for 5 years since I purchased my 2005.
It has been to several dealerships and they have replaced several items in an attempt to fix this. 2 weeks ago, the recall was performed to put the clip in the steering column. The issue surfaced again 1 week later.
The dealership wants to clean the throttle body (was replaced 12,000 miles ago) and I want the issue fixed.
I have contacted Gm customer service, but I am still trying to convince them of the bigger issue at hand.
They are telling me that they are not technically trained.
has anyone had any luck with GM as far as a repeated problem goes??
If so, who did you speak to??
I had great luck with GM Customer Service. Not sure if you have done this yet, but the C6 section has to have folks that have encountered that same issue.
I have found that doin your homework and telling the dealership what you think is going on helps. Maybe you can find some car-tech savvy C6ers to help you run down the issue and then go back and have them verify/fix the problem.

Never owned a C6 so I can't help you with that issue, but I did have a recurring problem with my '00 C5 - leaky differential seal three times. After the third trip to the dealer for that, I called GM Customer Service and complained - just talked to whoever answered the phone. After explaining the situation and saying that I was very disappointed that the problem kept recurring, they ended up extending my factory warranty for the differential for several years. Luckily the third fix was the charm and never had any other issues with it - but was nice to have the warranty coverage anyway.
