I hope I never find out first-hand, but I was wondering what happens to a C5/C6 if a particularly thoughtless A-hole really flings his door into you? Apart from paint damage, a metal car will show a dent, an old fibreglass Corvette might show a chip or even crack, but what about the plastic on these newer Corvettes? Just curious. Thanks.
It puts a white chip in the door. It's not plastic like you are thinking. It's fiberglass-reinforced plastic so when you scrape it or get a nice gouge, it will still look a lot like if the whole thing was made of fiberglass.
