What happens when C5 gets a door ding?
I hope I never find out first-hand, but I was wondering what happens to a C5/C6 if a particularly thoughtless A-hole really flings his door into you? Apart from paint damage, a metal car will show a dent, an old fibreglass Corvette might show a chip or even crack, but what about the plastic on these newer Corvettes? Just curious. Thanks.

It puts a white chip in the door. It's not plastic like you are thinking. It's fiberglass-reinforced plastic so when you scrape it or get a nice gouge, it will still look a lot like if the whole thing was made of fiberglass.

yes we know its in the shop.
But are they going to come threw and get your corvette back to like you said they said..Witch is today..Witch is not Friday..lol
