C5 almost stalls

C5 almost stalls
My 2002 C5's battery died. so i changed the battery anddecided to change the plugs and wires. now when i am driving or i rev engine. when RPM's come down they drop down to just a few hundred and almost dies. Has anyone had this problem or know why it is doing this. i cant find anything on this.

sounds like all you need is a computer tune. however, be sure your air intake filter is clean...and that the clamps are all tight. reason is you may have upset the air/fuel trim somehow while working on it. It is a good idea on these cars to change just one thing at a time, then verify everything is fine before changing another regardless of how simple it seems. the new plugs may play a role in the air/fuel scenario too...others should chime in and offer help on that idea.
