Has anybody ever seen "side by side" Vettes in Admiral Blue and Electron Blue? The only photos I've see of the Electron Blue seems similar but how close, if at all is it? I always loved the Admiral Blue, and I'm still sad about selling my Admiral Blue 94, and I'd like to get a C5 in something other then Red so I'd like to see if anybody has seen how close or how far apart they actually are.
The Admiral Blue is a much deeper blue then the Electron Blue and it actually looks like it might have a little purple in it at different angles. So you are stuck with 1. Get use to the Electron Blue. 2. Have it repainted to Admiral Blue (expensive). or 3. Find a nice C4 Admiral Blue.
They are not really that close BUT Electron Blue is really nice. It's metallic too which makes it pop.... I sold an 02 EB a couple years ago. I loved that paint... I like the C4 GS's too...

So then you've seen them side by side, not 50ft or 100ft apart from one another, and in good light conditions?
I may miss my 94 in Admiral Blue, but I'm not prepared to get another C4 which is why I'm trying to get information on the Electron Blue C5
At Carlisle one year in the GS display I saw an '02 EB done up like a GS. At that point they looked quite similar but it may be due to the hash marks and the white stripes. Both blues have purple in it but I think the AB has more. I have an '02 EB coupe and get a lot of compliments on the color. I think if you liked the AB then you will like the EB. EB only was in '02 and '03. You might also want to look at an '04 in LMB just for comparison. Personally I prefer the EB.
