Won't start after battery dying (sat for a week) Key Fob wont work when jumping batt
I went on vacation for a week and my battery went dead on my 99 coupe.
I try to jump it and the light under the hood comes on - Great I say - it was a dead battery.
I open the door to start car and the alarm starts blareing.
I can't turn alarm off - the key fobs don't seem to work now.
What should I do ?
Please respond as soon as possible as I was hoping to jump into car and go for a ride.
Thanks
Gary

Charge the battery with a battery tender till it has a full charge, or if it's older than 5 years just replace it. Allowing a battery to go dead will shorten it's life. Once it's charged or replaced reset all the codes.

When you lose battery power the fobs lose connection to the car. To resync the fobs stand close to the drivers door and hold down both the lock and unlock keys until you hear a beep (after you get a new battery).
