I am just curious because I was told my car had a K&N drop in when I bought it but this does not look like a K&N to me. The element is similar in design to a K&N but the filter is orange and not coated with oil
It looks like an Airaid filter to me. Also Fram took a run at some performance filters a few years back when Auto Zone was fighting with K&N. They were made by K&N and Fram sold them to Auto Zone as a brand that I can't remember, but it died on the vine.

Wow, saw this and I immediately went to the garage and checked my cabin filter. It needs to be replaced so I will go tomorrow a buy a new one.
