Default Projection headlights - impact on value, how hard to replace

I have a few questions on projection headlights on a C5.

First is, how much do they impact the value of the car? Many will say they improve it because of better lighting, but really they are a custom and like any custom car, prices change.

I'm not sure how I fee about them. Probably with better lighting, I'd appreciate them over time, but the value thing might bother me more. If so, how hard and how costly is it to pull them and stick the stock headlights back in.

These seem to be complete light pods set in where the original headlights used to be. I'm not sure what might be missing underneath.

C2 and C3 headlights were often changed as a result of an accident and the stock system to expensive and complex to repair/replace. However, while the C5s were new, these lights began showing up as a more modern style, so I know many were changed just to be changed, not due to wrecks.

So if these are here, is there any hidden story I should be looking for?

Some prefer them some don't. No big mystery. You might be able to to straight swap with someone who likes these.

I'd get rid of them. Personally, I don't like any of the stationary headlights out there for C5s. Some do. But I think it gets rid of part of the character the car has.

I know some people would trade straight up for them. Put them on the parts section for straight up trade.
