How many people out there have a C5 ZO6 with a SuperCharger at 700+ HP at the RW???
Are there any durability issues with having this HP on the street with the "occasional" race here and there????

Raising hand....
Absolutely love the power at 700+ rwhp. Traction becomes an issue if you do stop light to stop light, but I usually hammer it from 3rd gear on freeways and you just hang on...

I daily drive it no problems at all.

That's awesome to hear actually. My brother blew his car up several times on his way to 1000hp, and it's not his DD. Do you mind me asking what you did to get that kind of reliability? Built trans? motor?

cool to know it's possible though...

Stock trans and rear end, holding fine for now. No traction till third gear with drag radials and that depends on the tarmac. If your not going to track your car I would keep it at the 700-750 rwhp range to really enjoy it.

A forged bottom end and a pig rich tune is what you need for reliability

Car now has 64K on it and still has stock trans and diff. The trans and diff have lasted because im not into 1/4 drag racing with it at all and it never sees hard launches in 1st gear. Im more into back roads and 2ndthru 5th WOT runs.
Engine is forged and built by Andy at A&A which now has 14K on it with not 1 problem. Im comfortable right around 700 rwhp for all around traction and hammering back roads without having to back peddle much.

The mods had already been done on mine when I purchased the
car this past April, but for the 4k miles I have put on the car, it
has been a flawless performer. At just slightly north of 700whp,
I don't have near the power of some of the posters in this thread,
but I really like the combination of easy daily drivability along with
enough power that you never really stop grinning that this car provides.
The only "issue" I have had is when I tired of worrying about being
caught in the rain and replaced my M/T drag radials with General UHPs.
Great overall tire, but nowhere near the straight line traction of the
Mickey's. I use this car as my daily driver and it provides a very enjoyable ride to work.
The drivetrain has been beefed up with a twin disc clutch, ECS trans
brace, hardened output shafts and RPM tranny upgrades by Rick at RKT56. ECS did the short-block/engine mods and a fantastic tune.
I have not taken it to the track yet, but watched the previous owner
run multiple mid/low 10 second passes at 140+ mph without a hitch on
93 octane plus meth injection.
