I would be the first person to say - I don't like red! But then ... I saw her. My first vette a few years ago. A 2001 Torch Red, and it looked like it was GLOWING. I never noticed red quite like this before. Torch Red RUUULLEEESS! Don't get me wrong, I love blue, yellow, etc. But the Torch Red, when I saw it in person, took me by surprise. Who else did this happen to?

Almost five years ago I was looking for my first Z06. I wanted electron bliue. I stumbled upon a beautiful torch red 02 and that was that. I sold it two years later because of financial reasons. My next and present one is milenium yellow. Next beit a C5Z or a C6Z will be either electron blue or jetstream blue.

Ha, that's funny - same thing with me. I bought my '04 vert this spring and going in I specifically did NOT want red, and also did not want a black interior. Found my car and it was just too damned nice to not buy, despite it being Torch Red with a black interior!

Me! I love all Corvettes, but nothing cranks my tractor like Torch Red. I like it better than Victory Red and am happy it is available now for the C6 even though I plan to keep my '04 TR Coupe for a long time.The only thing I would like better is if it had Red Guts instead of black.

I went to rochester, ny recently to visit some friends.
they have a new Lexus convertible in red.
she saw my torch red Z06 and blurted out, "my Lexus doesn't even look red next to that red corvette!"

Red is nice - my '99 was TR. But I also like the blues, yellows, pewter, green - heck, I like them all.
