Lug Nuts for Magnesium Wheels?
I have the magnesium wheels on my '99 convertible. The plastic lug nut covers that came with it did not look good - the bare lug nuts were better so those covers are long gone. I picked up a set of chromed lug nuts from Zip Corvettes and now see that they are a different style. The originals are threaded both inside and outside (above the tapered/conical end) while the chromed have no such threads above the tapered/conical end. Can the chromed be used with the magnesium wheels? Or will they do any damage or not properly seat the wheels?
I don't want to do anything to damage the wheels or make the car unsafe - I just want to dress them up a little bit.

Okay, never mind . . . external thread is for the plastic caps and has nothing to do with mounting/seating the wheel. I feel like a rookie.
