what is the reason we cant use front tie rod ends for the back? they are 1/2 in shorter in front and thread dia. is the same. they look identical otherwise.
Fronts are cheaper to purchase than the rears, does anyone think it is crazy to pay that much when most other ones for american cars are half the price???? just asking lol
As long as theyll thread on, and have enough adjustment to align the car correctly id run them. Just make sure there are no internal differences like the joint on the back being stronger on the rear because oh say wheel hop issues normally associated with a IRS rear car you know. GM has had some crazy engineering faults in the past. lol

I would Just spend the money and fix the car the right way, I am sure there is a reason GM did it the way they did. They do have a clue on what they are doing.

Mr. Bill I agree partly with what you said but I have seen many times where changing a part number though they are the same gives the ability to charge differently and gives the apperence that they are different though they are not. I am not saying in this case its the same and I ordered the rears for the rear.
As for imavettegirl, being a smart @ might make you feel good but not knowing a persons situation might have a lot to do with why they ask or try to do other things which includes asking questions before they try something smart or stupid.
Being one of those people who are OUT OF WORK might be a good reason to try and save a few dollars. DONT YOU THINK.
everyone else thank you for your input. It is always appreciated.
