hope that shows the doubters that it can be done even though most would not do it.
REALLY, come on now, that is less than 1 inch of snow, heck the tracks are down to BARE road. Show me a video of a Corvette in 4-5 inches of snow. Have you measured to the bottom of your front spoiler? It is 3.5 inches, on a stock C5, makes a great snowplow. Next open your hood, where do you think that snow would go?
Not to mention that he was using 3-4 lanes of road and drifting all over them.

you are just so stuck on this.
tried to educate you but I see you are not ever going to think any different even though you are wrong.
Have you considered just renting a car during the bad snows?
The previous owner of mine used his as a daily driver the 1st 2 years of ownership in New Hampshire, so it can be done. I got caught in an unexpected ice storm in my 84 and drove 60 miles in it And it didn't have traction control / active handling / anti-lock brakes. I didn't do over 20 and did have a nice chuckle at the SUV's and 4X4's that had run off the road. So it can be done.
I'm debating putting the Snow/Mud tires on my C5 this year and use it except in extreme snow. Undecided at the moment though.
I decided to store my vette in garage throughout winter
one more question:
do i need to disconnect battery wires before storage or just leave it like that

I store from Dec1 to Apr 1. I leave batt in and connected with float charger from Autozone that shuts off when fully charged, put Stabil in gas tank, fuel up to full, put about 40lbs in tires and let'er sit. I do try and take it out about 2-3 times for a 1/2hr drive during that period when the roads are dry and not bleach white from the salt.
I have a 91 accord. That I use when the vette is in the garage.
The accord gets around 32mpg/hwy and it has 181,000mi (thats just breaking it in). Ill be driving that car till it blows up.
