Default help with a decision

well i have a 99 vette with 46000 miles and i also have a 97 trans am with 130,000 miles that i have around 16grand in all together..i just got it painted it has jasper engine with 35,000 miles, new transmission with 3000 stall with 15,000 miles and AI cam kit with longtubes and all the other little things you need..it ran 8.3 8th mile with 1.9 60ft so its pretty quick for an lt1..ive had it for 4 years now and since i bought my vette i rarely drive the trans am..so should i sell the trans am and put a supercharger on the vette or just keep both since they dont make trans am anymore and be satisfied with a stock vette..

Default Thining out the stable.

Well IF you can part with the Trans Am with out a ton of remorse, And if you think/believe that a superchared C5 is a better fit then go ahead. But keep in mind you sunk a ton of cash that's not really returnable from the TA, or the C5 once it is finished to your expections? Personally, I'd buy a few CD'd at 2.50% and keep both rides ! IMHO

i was thinking if i sold the T/A just put the money in stock market and then in a year or two gain a little more money and sell the vette and get a 07 or 08 z06 but my mind keeps changing all the time

I think you're on the right track with your comments above. Sounds like a good plan.......hopefully we will continue to see gains in the market.

That's a plan, but right now any money you invest in the stock market isn't going to grow all that much. We're in a recession/depression. And I would guess your not going to extract a decent price for the Trans Am either.

I have an A&A package and its a blast

I dont think you would regret it just keep in mind the things that may get you like a clutch and possibly a radiator depending on your driving style or needs...

The market plan could be good, depends on your age, and how long you intend on staying in it. Either way, that is one fine looking T/A.
