Do I only have to wire it to the front speakers or all of them to get the amp and subs working again and what are the wire colors do I need to hook up?? sorry to keep asking all these questions I'm usally pretty good at installs but all this bose stuff is drivin me nuts lol

That harness I am not sure if it will work
wire everything
speaker wires
yellow to yellow
black to black red to passenger footwell
blue white from radio to blue on harness
Use caution about feeding signal to the Bose door speakers. They have their own power amps - it's a tricky balance to get it right. There are several adapters that may work - I forget - Soundgate makes one.
Everything I've read suggests the part your friend gave you won't work. Not 100% sure about that but I don't think so. I would suggest you post over in the Audio Forum and get some help. Also, you can PM Dennis (c5 Bears Fan) at DD Mods. Excellent Forum Vendor who knows this stuff cold. He can help you out and point you in the right direction if the part you have won't work. Good Luck

Not sure what you have will do.
Good Luck ---->
soundgate harness is not very good
I use the Pac Audio roem-vet1 in all my kits. I have had no issues with them
Its not tricky to get it right
The pac audio roem-vet1 does this and is as simple as connecting wires.
I just did a post on this. You need one of two adapters for it to be done correctly. GMCRv2 or ROEM-VET1.
Ok, I did some research and they no longer make the GMCRv2. But, there is another one that you can get that is supposed to be better. I ordered mine today. It's the whole kit with everything you need to install it (except the beer) for $39.95

Reason: non vendor link

I got a case of bud light waiting for the day the install starts lol
That's the great thing about ROEM-VET1. It's a plug and play box. The hardest part is getting the din and radio back out. I hate taking all that stuff apart. That's where the beer comes in.
I don't know about you guys, but after I installed my new headunit and adapter, the subs were trying to put out way too much mid bass.... to the point where it was annoying. I could turn down the bass in the head unit, but then the other channels also will lose. Isn't there a crossover in the PAC unit? I ended up installing a 4mH Choke coil inline + going to the sub, and that filtered out most except for 80Hz and below. After a tweak at the PAC gain adjustment, it sounded WAY BETTER. I'm running Polk 3.5" in place of the stock, stock rears, Aftermarket Headunit, and the PAC ROEM interface. I'm suprised that no one else has complained about the excessive 100+hz mid bass. Am I missing something on a built in crossover?
