Well I am the guy that installed marble white interior into a MYellow C5. That looked really bad!!!!!!! I did not realize how bad until I posted the pictures on the forum. After needing a 10,000 degree flame suit after that one I changed to carbon fiber. This was very nice but very boring. So here is the latest. Also threw on a set of CCW classic with DR's that are my drag set up. Still got the MRRs

CCW Classics are great wheels, however I like the wheels in the bottom picture the best. What kind are they? The finish and fit look great.
I remember your original white marble post and the flame job you received. It was sure an entertaining read.
I don't think I ever saw your CF treatment, however I think your current yellow marble finish looks better than your original white marble finish, however I'm not personally into the marble look for cars. It reminds me of kitchen counters or worse, tombstones!
However, I do admire your creativity and your desire to be unique. Plus, by the looks of that monster you have under the hood, I'm sure looks aren't what matter most in this case!
I like it much better than the white
Looks like you might still see some fire coming your way about the rims though I have to agree the ones in the last pic are real nice.
But hell, with what you have under the hood you can rock just about whatever you want
The CCW are my drag set up. Still got the others and I agree the MRR rims are great looking. I do like the aggressive old school look of the CCW classics with the 325/45/17 rears. I can still spin the DR but nothing like the 295/30/19 michelins that I can spin at any speed under 70 mph. I really bought the CCW's for the corvette challenge at Capital Drag raceway that was rained out. The CCW took me 12 hours to polish and clean up. What a pain in the ****. They will not be on for daily use. Much to hard to maintain.

After many years semi-active and inactive on this forum I have yet to understand the draw to the "carnival ride" look. I know, "to each his own" and all that and I DO absolutely believe a car is an extension of the owner or at least a way to express your individuality. I just don't get the crazy colors and stripes and contrasting piping and all that. maybe I am the one that is not with the program. I have stood back from my car and looked at what I thought it needed from an appearance standpoint. I have looked through the catalogs, read the forums and looked at the pictures and in the end, there is very little I think I could do to make my car LOOK better. GM did a great job.
PURELY as constructive criticism and NOT a personal attack, I would do away with the three bowties at the back of the scoop, I would get rid of the marble effect or tone it way down..,possibly a "ghost" effect using a dark charcoal with black marbling and fix the ashtray cover. It would be a big improvement. Again, just applying MY taste to YOUR car so it means nothing.
