i have a weird grinding noise comming from frontof car, noise reminds me of when you let a car sit for a while and the brakes stick when you go to move it , this only happens when im braking the last 5 or 6 miles per hour thought it was a stuck caliper took wheels off everything looked fine then while putting tires on i spun the driverside and it spun freely then pass side spun with the same amount of force it barly made one revolution also the calipers were depressed no resistance also heard a slight moan would this be time to replace the wheel hub also is there any tips on changing the hub
thank you ....2000 corvette 55,000...

yes i would say so. how old is the car and how many miles? usually the front hubs last a very long time its usually the rears that go out quick. i have never done the front hubs but i have done the rear and it was pretty simple. i bet the fronts are easier since you dont have to worry about the axels being in them. but hopefully someone else chimes in for me.
