I have a 1999 Corvette with some engine modifications done about 10 years ago. Anyway, my problem is this.
Start the car, everything is fine. Then with no warning, the check engine, active handling lights appear on the dash, and all gauges stop working except for the battery.
Also, the right side mirror does not work, the window does not work, and door lock does not work. Everything on the driver side is fine. Pretty wierd, but that is the case. I tried cleaning my chip on my ignition key with no help.
Anyone out there ever have the same difficulty and have a possible fix for me to try? Right now, the window is down on the right side. It is in the garage tho so no problem there.
Everything passes through the drivers door to the passenger door, so I'd first look at the tube that goes from the A pillar to the door. Go to the Tech section, up top in the stickys and look for Bill Curlee's thread http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...post1570630819 and search "accordion tube".
