Default Threadlocker Red Question

HI -

I tried searching and could not find the answer.

I see people saying they use red threadlocker on their caliper bracket bolts.

There's actually 3 different types of Red. (262-Permanent Strength, 271-High Strength & 272-High Temp)

I bouth the 271 High Strength. Is the the correct model to use on the bracket bolts?
Also...should this stuff be used on the Caliper Slide Bolts as well? Or use Blue on those?

Thanks!

Don't know if it's right or not, but I've used 271 everytime I've had my brakes off and haven't had any problems. I would only use blue if anything on the slide bolts. If memory serves, those don't get torqued very much...

I used 271 red on the bracket bolts and caliper slide bolts. Before reassembling I used a wire wheel on the bolts to get rid of the old dried up thread locker.
