Today i took home a TR 2002 Z06. It has 36,000 miles with some sort of axle back system. Other then that its stock. Im going to be 23 in october and iv had a few different cars. I started in F-bodies and 2 years ago i bought my 2006 WRX(which now i have to sell). Needless to say i am very happy to be back in the domestic market. I am very pleased with the way the Z06 drives, accelerates and stops by far the most enjoyable drive iv experienced. All of my cars i have purchased myself with my own money. I am a Subaru Service Advisor and i currently live at home at the moment and now with this new purchase im gonna have a few more years left here.lol
Nice - you'll love the Vette. It is amazing how many people will think your 8-year old car is new. Also, the support network (this forum) is amazing for this car.
there is no problem that these forum memebers haven't seen, fixed, replaced, modified, tinkered with and enhanced. And if you are out on the road and something happens, get on this forum and a member will steer you in the right direction.....what other car group has this kind of support????
you will still need a winter subaru in Pittsburgh.
Was thinking the same thing when I read his post!! I drive year round in the St. Louis area,,,but I think he's gonna get a lot more snow than we get on average!! Congrats on your new ride,,sounds like you got a sweet one for sure!!! ENJOY!!!

lol i forgot to mention that part. Im going to sell the wrx and pick up something cheap and put the rest of the money back in the bank

congrats on the new Z! You are gonna luv it! Couple of things.....we vette guys call the exhaust a "cat back" exhaust.........also.....do the simple mods first....change fluids, lower, tint, clb (column lock bypass), cags, fresh floor mats...etc......and most importantly.....learn to drive your Z well.....really learn the car! Get that thing payed off! Congrats on your new Z and your success. Enjoy!
I hear they filed chapter 11 last year and it doesnt look good for next year.

I called my tint guy and hes on vacation untill next sunday so that will be first. As for the ride height...living in pittsburgh are roads suck and the road leading to my neighborhood has speed bumps so im going to leave the ride height alone. Is the clb a recall(i think i read that on the carfax report)?what is cags?I took out a 3year loan but i usually end up selling cars every 2 years or so. I hope to keep this 1 and maybe just change up my daily. As far as future mods im hoping in the spring to get long tubes with highflow cats and then maybe a cam the following year. When doing long tubes do the exhaust manifolds come out the bottom?
