vin check question
Hi guys. before i ask my question, I've learned a ton of information from you guys and your help is always appreciated.
I just purchased an 01, and I am trying to find out what recalls have been done to the vehicle. Unfortunately, the car fax did not list any of the dealers servicing. Can some run the vin and tell me what has been done and also where the car originated? here is the vin: 1G1YY22G515107124

I just bough my 03. Prior to me purchasing it I did a google search for recalls and found three known for that model year. When I got it home, the local Chevy dealership did a search for me and said that the column had already been done. They even knew the date. So I would just take it to a good dealer that you know and trust.

There are quite a few members on this forum who can and usually will run a VIN for others through GM's Vehicle Inquiry System. Hopefully one of these members will see this thread and give you a full report. It will show you all that has been done to the car through any GM dealer and when it was done (date & mileage)
