I do not, but a vette buddy of mine owns one and says it's great... I'll probably get one after seeing it in action.

They work great. Got mine about a year and a half ago. It does a super job with wheels, it really makes drying quicker and easier most of the time. However, if you wash your car on a really hot, sunny day you might not want to use it and stick with micro fiber. That is the only time that the towel is faster or better IMO. And it beat a leaf blower by a long shot.

I use it in my shop when I wash cars - best thing since sliced bread! The only thing that I will say about it as a caution, you will need a 20amp receptacle to run both motors. Most residential service has 15amp receptacles, and with an 18amp draw it will pop your 15amp breaker.

It blows heated and filtered air, it works great!

Aren't the Master blasters a AC plug in unit you have to drag around the car!?, i use my $89.00 gas leaf blower and it works great! without dragging a cord around catching on the tires!.

Yes, they are electrical plug in, but the long hose and the wheels on the unit make movement of it extremely simple. The heated air is far more effective than a leaf blower. The velocity of the air is much higher, and I found a leaf blower to be far more awkward to maneuver in small places than the master blaster. Even my small 4HP hand held blaster whips the leaf blower even though it also has a cord.

I have one and have used it quite a bit. No, it is not faster than drying with a towel. Yes, it's safer. Interestingly, you need a good wax base on your car for it to be effective at all. It works well with my Vette, but not so well with my F150 because I haven't waxed it properly. I haven't tried it on my interior, but will after reading this thread.

I thought the same thing and I was using a leaf blower to dry my car but I bought the Blaster and haven't looked back.......I absolutely love it!!!! It was a pain storing it until they came up with the wall hook, now I have my drying area set up conveniently in my garage. It takes half the time to wash/dry my car as it used to.

I have had mine for about a year and overall I like it but there are a few things that if I had known before buying, I probably wouldn't have. The major dislikes for me that I didn't think about when buying would be...

1. I would not say that you can dry a vehicle with this unit alone UNLESS it has a very good coat of wax on it. When the water beads up it is easily pushed off the car with the air force but if you don't have good beading the water will just sort of spread out and dry, leaving behind trails of dried water that you can see and look horrible.
Even if the car is waxed properly it is very time consuming to dry with just the blaster. I find that I combo the blaster with microfiber for the best/ fastest results.

2. The power usage, as one member pointed out, is a lot and most homes that I have used the blaster at have trouble running both motors without popping the breaker. Sometimes if I shut off everything else on the circuit I can run the blaster long enough to dry my car. More often though I start with both motors and when the circuit pops just change over to the one motor setting.

Those are the two major fails with this product but in addition to that my hose started tearing near the part where you hang on (right where the attachment screws on) and this was after a few months of ownership. I just wrapped it in duct tape and it's fine.
Also (totally operator error) I find that the on/off toggle switches are easy to accidentally hit when the unit is not in use. I don't know if it is how I store it, how I handle it, or what, but on multiple occasions when I plugged it in it was already on and started blowing. The hose whipping around could cause damage really fast and I have learned to always double check the position of the toggles before plugging it in. Again, this is my mistake so I can't hold it against the product but it is part of the design that I don't like. I could be the only one on this though.

This product is absolutely great when it comes to cracks and crevices, think engine, wheels, wheel wells, door jambs, mirrors, etc. The promotional video is good at highlighting this aspect. The heated air (main reason I bought it) is also great and helps out the drying process immensely.
I was using compressed air and a towel before and honestly I probably would have just stayed with that method if I had know more about this product. Now that I do have it I use it and like it, but if you are already using either a leaf blower or compressor to dry your car, don't expect a world of difference. Overall it is a nice product and if you can find one for cheap, all the more reason to get it.
