Default C5 headlight assembly

I've been searching and having trouble finding a thread on stock headlight removal. Could someone please chime in with a link. There are lots of depo install threads but seems no one go's into detail on the removal of the stock unit.
Thanks in advance..

Just a quick note:

8mm ratcheting box wrench
Torx driver (cant remember, probably T10)
Needle nose pliers

D/C Negative battery cable
With lights down, remove two torx screws from the rear of each headlight cover.
Remove rubber cover over manual headlight position **** and turn to raise light fully.
Remove two screws holding plastic headlight surround bezel, remove bezel.
Remove remaining two torx screws holding headlight cover on (one on each side).
Place a towel in the bottom of the space under the light carrier (down inside, by the brake duct) so that when you remove the pivot bolts in the next step you dont drop the carrier down into the space and scratch anything.
Remove the two pivot bolts on the top rear of the light carrier. They have 8mm nuts and the head of the bolt is torx. You may need to turn the manual headlight position **** (see above) to lower the carrier slightly to allow you to remove the pivot bolts. Also ensure you dont loose the plastic spacers fitted into the holes that the pivot bolts go through when you remove the bolts.
Gently allow the light carrier to drop into the space above the brake duct and rest it on the towel.
Disconnect the plugs going to the lights.
Remove the friction ring from the large silver pin that goes through the carrier and the end of the raising arm. Remove the silver pin.
Remove the carrier from the car.

You're done.

Good luck

Remove rubber cover over manual headlight position **** and turn to raise light fully. I usually wait to disconnect my battery until after I've removed the two T-15 screws from the back of the lights so I can raise them with the switch in the car... Up to you
Remove two Phillips screws holding plastic headlight surround bezel, remove bezel.

Just a couple edits/suggestions... This is a good procedure to follow.

Do a search on you tube. There is a video that i believe was posted by Radioflyer. It basically takes you through this whole procedure. Those pivot bolts on the outside of each unit are on extremely tight, so be careful that you don't round off the head of the nut. Do not ask why i know!
