I just purchased a 98 Vert on Thursday. The old owner told me he had the radio replaced because he wanted to be able to use MP3. He gave me the stock radio AM/FM Cassette with a Stock CD player in the rear conpartment and the CD player works with the new Kenwood radio. He had it profesionaly installed. I want to go back and reinstall the stock radio. Will it work with the CD player in the back?
Take it to a pro, Too many unanswered questions, Is there an interphase in it? Is it a factory cd changer?
Have the wires been cut?
This of all things, is a job for an expert. Not your brother in law or a guy who works at autozone, But a real sound and domestic automotive expert. In Philadelphia, there's maybe 3 real expert shops. And I'm not exaggerating it. There's one shop in the western side of Philadelphia that the Ferrari dealer in Brwn Mawr who only use this one shop for the installs of sound equipment and radios in the real upper end of cars.
