On the tiger shark front, has anyone filled in the turnsignal hole, then moved the turnsignals down to the thinner hole (that is below the turnsignal hole)
If you did a LED strip like on a 911 it would look pretty cool..
If you fill the hole improperly it will ghost through the paint when finished. That is the reason the 2 locator holes ghost through on most vetted when they remove the badges and paint over them.
This is a mod that you might not want to do if the person doing it has no experience with duraflex.
Would it be possible to have a driving light be an LED strip like on the Audi, then it turn into an amber turnsignal when activated...
possible? Yes, however unlikely due to the few tigershark kits sold. The audi lights use light-channels to direct the LED output forward. This would require a great deal of R&D plus production setup with relatively few customers.

yea thats easy, get a high power(very bright) L.e.d strip, give it 12v then ground it to an existing light setup that runs while your headlights are on, or maybe even use your ground for fogs, that should click them on while your fogs on, I havnt done this in a while, but Im pretty sure its tying in to the ground, it not it would be the power then...Sry some electrical person will chime in please

Wiring would go something like this:
- Blow the #2 fuse in the fusebox disabling the DRL feature. Then tap into that circuit upstream to get the DRL 12v + seperate from the turn signal. You would then run the power wire thought as 12v relay thought terminale 30 and 87a. This would power the white section.
- Here's wher it gets tricky. There are 2 ways to do this:
version a) Tap the turn signal wires on each side near the turn signal bulb. Run this back to the relay terminal 86. You will need two diodes to prevent backflow to the other signal circuit. With this version the LEDs will act like switchbacks flashing from white to amber.
version b) There is a circuit somewhere out of the BCM (haven't found it yet) that runs to the flasher module under the dash. assuming this is a 12v circuit, tap this to terminal 86 on the relay you installed. With this version, the white version will shut off completely as long as the turn signal is activated.
.....if you really want to look unique, run a 2200 micro farad capacitor to the DRLs and turn signals to get thee fade-on/fade-off effect of incandecent bulbs.

Thought i'd shop it to see what it looked like. I like.

That looks sick!!!!
You actually dont need the amber sides because you can get led strips or lights that are white when they are on and flash amber when you flip on your turn signal (depending on how you wire them). Essentially they are switchbacks in LED strip form. I think I want to call my body guy and find out what it would run to do this. Or if Autobuffs in Jersey is reading, send me a pm please.

Actually, that does look real sharp.....I like it..
I think one of the laws is that the turn signal must be viewable from the side. That's why most cars have them on the corners. Not sure in the angle if this would be viewable from the sides or not. Looks good though.

This looks very cool!!
Cove lights wired to the turn signal circuit might work to satisfy this...
...somewhat.
Great... and I just bought a TS front from JW a short while ago... least I've got some time to mull over this idea before I have to worry about it... trying to find a good deal on a SpecterWerks Group 5 rear fascia as well, and that's proving to be difficult...
