can anyone tell me why my blinkers do not work some of the time? very sporatic. they will work fine then they won't. No blinkers inside or outside!!! ?? but if i pop the hazards once or twice, they are back!! AND all of a sudden, my headlight pop up right when i start the car. And they do not go down. the headlight switch is off and even if i turn it on and off, still nothing. Hoping someone knows something before i have to bring it to a shop. Please advise!!

The blinker issue could be one of 2 things...
1. the blinkers go through the hazard switch, to get to the computer.
it sounds like you need the blinker bypass.
2. It could be a ground issue.
I strongly suggest you install the bi-pass cable instead of replacing the hazard switch. It has a history of fixing the intermittent turn signal issue for about $60-$65 bucks and ONLY takes 30 min or so to install. Did mine 3 years ago, been solid as a rock ever since.

Keep in mind the hazard switch has the same "history" and is about half the price or less.
If you have an AC actuator issue this would be the time to take care of that issue also.
My original hazard switch lasted 10 yrs, 125K...not too bad
edit: and just so it's clear, the bypass is probably a lot easier that the hazard switch but your hazard switch will still be phucked up if you don't replace it
Hazard switch will fix your blinkers. Do you park inside or is it dark where you usually start the car? Check the automatic headlight settings maybe?
does it have an automatic headlight setting? i didn't know that. i park in garage where it can be slightly dark BUT i've been parking there forever. this just happened the other day. i disconnected battery but that was no help.
I'm a freaking moron!! now i know what "Twilight - ON" means!!! I was fiddling with the instrument panel and under options i saw TWILIGHT!! i put it on to see what it did then i didn t drive car for a few days!! Thnak for everyones help!! and i will be getting a new hazard switch and/or a bypass harness!!!
