Hi Guys..
Am an owner of a 2002 C5 ZO6,a while ago i lost my main car key..
So i started using the spare key,and it worked fine till two days ago.the key disappeared for some reason. i just cant find them,i searched and searched but found nothing.
So am kinda wondering, what can i do now,the car is sitting in the garage with the doors locked and the steering wheel locked in place as well..should i Go to the Dealer and give him my chassis number ?? or there is something to do ??
Can you guys help me ..
Go to a Chevy dealer with a title or registration and they can make you a new key from the vin #. It will be pricey! And never be without a spare for any vehicle!
ha... you guys don't know the half of it. i have shaved handles, with no alternate method of opening the doors, and only one key. i have to go through a ridiculously OCD process every time I get out of the car to make sure I'm not shutting the doors with the keys in it. on the upside, i really don't have to use the door locks!
for the record, there IS a way to get into the car if your keys are locked in it though... ask me how i know...
