[Z06] Differential Clutch Plates?

Differential Clutch Plates?
I am feeling strongly, these are fried on my car. It was about a year ago, the service writer could not hear what I hear, but now my chances of demonstrating the sound seem stronger.
Has anybody gotten this fixed under warrantee? Should I just say to them, "that sound is clutch plates, please replace them"? At any slow speed with any even slight turn, the rear end is making that noise.
