OK. I have a PAC harness and converter for my amp from the factory HU. I just installed the IPOD2CAR interface, works great BTW, but does not charge my iPhone4. Also, after I installed it, my amp started cutting in and out until finally quit. I have checked and rechecked every connection and found none to be loose or damaged. I plan to tear it all apart tomorrow morning when it is cooler out and put it all back together AGAIN in hopes that I just missed some thing or jarred some thing loose.
Any ideas? Could the IPOD2CAR interface be causing issues with the PAC harness/converter?
One more question. Should my CD player be working? It reads disc 1 track 1 then goes 1:00 then to 2:00 no sound.
The stock radio has a "CD/AUX" button on it. When the ipod is connected, the radio will default to the ipod, where it will display "Disc 1Track 1". You can select the next track by hitting the forward "Seek" button on the radio - the display will then read "Disc 1 Track 2". If you want to listen to a CD, hit the "CD/AUX" button and the radio will switch to the CD and begin playing that. The "CD/AUX" button cycles between the CD and the ipod.
Oh, and the inside of the C5 dash is a terrible place for big hands! I have tiny little cuts all over both hands! WEAR GLOVES! I wish I had been wearing maybe doubled up rubber gloves to protect my hands. It's like the death of a thousand cuts in there!
