Yes, they are a forum sponsor. They are listed on the left side of the page. Why not call them and ask about the status of your order?

i posted a few days ago about them (i believe in the C3 forum). i don't know exactly what is going on with them. i have been one of their customers for a very long time, but lately i have found that many of the product and parts i have ordered seem to be "out of stock" or on "back order". i don't know if the economy has caused them to reduce their inventory to bare minimums to control costs or what, but in the last month, i have had to cancel parts of 2 separate orders when they couldn't provide the parts ordered (on line without checking stock) and the back order expected delivery dates kept getting pushed back almost day by day. i needed the parts for a restoration i am doing, and was fortunate (i guess) to find other vendors with them in stock and ready to ship. while i have always been very satisfied by their products and their customer service, and i will continue to check them as one of the first places to provide parts, i will definitely call in my order and confirm that the needed items are in stock and ready to ship before i place any more orders with them to insure i can get what i need in a timely manner.

I just called, they said the parts were in stock but they haven't shipped yet. They also told me they guarantee you will have the parts in 7-10 business days. I could have paid extra and they said they will rush them. I just didnt think it would take that long to ship in stock parts.

We apologize for the delay. About 4 weeks ago we posted information on our new warehouse management system, and as to be expected, we have encountered a few issues along the way that we are trying to address. This has caused shipments to customers to be delayed, but we are still delivering items within 10 business days on average. Ultimately, with the new warehouse management system, customers will start to see reduced shipping times.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...customers.html

As for items being not in stock or backordered, we strive to keep our best selling items in stock at all times. With this in mind, sometimes we sell out of an item that our vendor is backlogged on. In this case we have to wait for the parts to be produced and shipped by that vendor. If the vendor does not produce the part for 4 weeks, for example, then we have no choice but to wait.

We currently sell over 40,000 parts, and while it would be ideal to keep surplus inventory on hand at all times, it is cost prohibitive for us to do so. As a result, we have to keep surplus inventory to a minimum.

Thank you for your business and continued support!

I understand what you are saying and I was told about the $3.95 fee to have product shipped the same day. If my product ships today it will have been 4 days to ship. If I would have known I would have paid.

Well all of my parts came in, and one of the outer tie rods did not have a castle nut. It has the cotter pin but no nut I hope I can get one at my local auto parts.

I had an issue with them, I ordered a cd mag and it was sent in a timely matter, But I got the wrong one, So I e-mailed them and sent pictures and they sent out a new one, Guess what they sent me the same one they sent the first time. After about almost 3 weeks of trying to get the correct one I just got a refund and this was before the new system.

I've bought from Corvette Central so many times I couldn't count them all over the last twenty years. A Great company, I never had a problem. And if you call customer service, your talking to someone in the United States, and they get back to you ASAP.
