Did you just go pick a random track video on youtube to post? There are hundreds of Corvette vs. (insert lesser car here) videos out there.

Here is another one, that problem imo is that mustang is not that much of a lesser car anymore. This 5.0 is different. honestly it makes me a little sad that a mustang beats corvettes now stock for stock. Stock dyno numbers are 5.0 380rwhp 365rwt, Ls3 380-385 rwhp and 370-375 rwt. As you see the coyote is just as strong. Corvette has a weight advantage and aerodynamically better but 5.0 has optional 3 73 gears so looks like a drivers race to me. And I'm not even comparing LS1,LS2 but the mighty ls3 engine. I really hope that C7 will receive something around 450-475at the crank at least. Corvettes always have been way above mustangs and I wish it stayed this way.
It still might handle better but straight line performance is undeniably important as well.

I would like my click back, This is a lame thread,
At the end of the day it is still a Mustang and the Corvette is a Corvette. You sound like you would be just fine driving a Mustang.
They're getting some pretty good 1/4 mile times out of the new 5.0. Posting a video of a Mustang beating a Corvette will not bode well with some on this forum. You have to remember that the Corvette is God's gift to the performance car world.

Ohhhh, I understand the point you were making now. I'm sorry. I didn't put 2 and 2 together. My bad man.
