Brake reservoir question
So I changed my brake fluid then left for 6 months, came home and the brakes are really mushy. I've done this many times over the last 5 yrs and never had this happen.
Looked at the fluid and it is very murky already, even though the fluid only has like 100miles on it. I did notice that the rubber seal boot thingy under the cap has a hole at the bottom. I think this allowed water to soak into the brake fluid while it was sitting.
Changed fluid and the brakes are good again, but now I need to get a new rubber thingy. Dealer says I can only buy the whole assembly. any thoughts??
