i have black a 2000 frc, my car has a few rock chips, nothing major, and a few small scratches, any normal person wouldnt even consider painting their car considering that its bearly noticable, but it bothers me to see the chips and scratches when i wash it , if i was to repaint my car a different color, such as white is there a way to change it on the title? if i spend the money to paint it i want it a color that i will be happy with, so i was thinking white, the white frc is awsome, i just dont want people thinking the car has been wrecked and thats why im painting any suggestions?

You should be able to walk into the DMV and get the color changed on the title. There is someone not long ago who painted his FRC white and it looked pretty good. So not really any suggestions other then if you want to do it go for it. Just make sure you can find someone who does decent work, and make sure its done properly (under hood, door jams, etc...)

Dont repaint it at all as far as a total repaint. Have some one to fill in the chips and buff then clear coat all the bad and that is it. Should be able to do that with no problems and reall not be able to tell it..
You fill the chip completely with touchup paint, let it dry, then rub the repaired area with a credit card covered with a smooth cotton rag (tee shirt) with their solution on it, and it makes the touched up spot perfectly flat (it was raised tear drop shape ... ) and blended to original paint finish, and does NOT harm the original paint job ... you end up with a paint chip filled in perfectly FLAT !
no BS - really hid my touched up chips... to this day you can't find them on the nose of the car !!!
