Halo Mod
Just got new led tails and I am attempting the halo mod. What a mistake !!!!! Can not get them to work to save my life. Got current to resistors but no current after. Any ideas?

Try contacting TheRadioFlyer - he does a lot of mods to the lighting system using LEDs.

Did you watch the EBOXEPERT video on Utube. I followed them and it worked out great. I have to admitt it is a pain to do but you will get the hang of it. I am not far away from you If you dont get them I might be able to help you. I am a little busy this weekend tho with the race and work.

you said you have power before the resistor but not after right? Bad resistor or conection maybe. I just did mine about 3 months ago, I am a little foggy but i watched the video and wrote down what colors go to what and the resistors to the right colors, I would say just back track, did the lights work prior to doing the mod.

did you try flipping the resistors?
IIRC, the side of the resistor with the gold band goes towards the power source and the opposite side goes towards the LEDs.

It doesn't matter jason, That gold band denotes the actual resistance will only vary 5% from the stated resistance, a silver band means a 10% variance is allowed. The resistor can be placed anyway into the circuit.

Resistors Position
Yelp I tried that both directions for the resistors and it still doesn't work. Radio Flyer is going to save me so they are off to him today!!
