[Z06] Headers ???

Someone had mentioned once on this forum that a C6 Z06 exhaust manifold is almost as good as a set of long tube headers when it comes to HP/TQ gains ???

So will they bolt directly onto my LS6 (2004 C5 Z06) ?

What are the gains if this is fact ?

I WANT TO INSTALL HEADERS BUT DON'T WANT TO BE CONCERNED WITH FUTURE SMOG VIOLATIONS

It does fit actually. Sort of. SCM_Crash runs them on his Z06. The exhaust manifold will bolt on fine, but I believe you need to modify the x-pipe where it meets the cat-back. Click the following link for more info.

No more HP/TQ than a good set of shorties like B&B...which come with a CARB EO#. Just my 2 cents...

I did the headers and a bassani X-pipe at the same time and it definately made good change in sound.
