Do you sell unpainted ones at a lower price than the other vendors? I'll paint it myself. Thanks.

There are two screws on the bottom of the plate that you will remove and it will slide down and out.

Found them and removed the plate and painted the corvette lettering. There was a post with instructions on how to paint the lettering that I followed and it worked great.

I'm a bit confused. I assume these are for people who don't have the one that came with the car? Or did they stop supplying them with the cars at some point.

I bought my car used. The seller did not have it. (Maybe an earlier owner kept it as a souvenier). I finally bit the bullet and paid for a new one.

I am in a two-plate state but I own an old plate from the one-plate era, and that plate is grandfathered in. It's on my wife's car and I now have to go to the registry to switch registrations. Groan . . .

Same here Jack

But.....I'm taking my chance and putting on the plate cover for the trek to Carlisle next week.

Wonder if PA is a 2 plate state?

This GM piece is brand new. We buy them new and pre-paint them any C5 body color. We then put a clear coat finish on for a high gloss shine to match your body color exactly.

These are custom painted to order, so please allow up to 10 business days for your order to ship.
