My steering wheel doesn't lock.
Does this mean it's broken or does this mean it's fixed? If it means it is fixed, how can I tell what method was used to fix it? It does not show up as a dealer service repair when I run my VIN.

The late model A4 cars ('02, 03 and '04) did not come with the column lock, only the manual cars. The early cars, both auto and manual had the column lock.
