what can I get for 2001 C-5 rims that sold for over $3000 when they were new. They are in great condition and only have 20,000 miles on them. I had a chevy dealer run my vin number and thats how I got the price....

Obviously getting anything from the dealer is going to cost a lot more then on the open market. Stock C5 thin spokes sell for less then $1000 and thats with rubber as they are pretty abundant....sorry to burst your bubble
Thanks,,,, I went with 2004 z06 motor sport chrome with tires,, and just want to knock down my total $$ with what I can get for the C-5......Great shape is $400 about the going rate without the tires

That's what I sold my stock rims for without the rubber.....
You might get $400 if you wait on them a long time. $300 is more realistic for a quicker sale. Remember, you're competing against a new set of repros which can be had for $800-$1000 in any color/design/generation a C5 customer wants.
I would think the magnesium wheels would bring more money but probably not much more. I have my stock (thin spoke painted wheels with run flats) on a shelf in my garage. They are worth more to me as the original set than the $$ I could probably get for them. Seems like there is just not a huge market out there for them.
