Default driver window and driver memory seat issues

Hi guys, I think this is a common issue, but I never really found someone with a solution.
This is the closet I could find in my searching....
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-z...y-seats-2.html

I'm having two issues and I'm curious if it could be battery related?
1) Driver window will not go without repeated hits of the button. Every once in a while it will go up with no fuss, but maybe 1 out of 20 times. It does always go up but it's like it gets stuck even though it's not.
2) Driver memory seat doesn't always return to it's set position. I may have to hit the button for that a few times to get it to return.

My car is a 04Z and it is pretty much my DD. I don't drive it in the rain but here in TN it doesn't rain all that much so I get to drive it say 5 days out of a week. I've checked the codes recently and saw a loss on communication with left door or something like that. It was a history code and when I cleaned the air filter(whole different story) I got a CEL and pulled the codes then reset them once I knew what they were. I figured a history code would pop back up if it became an issue again.

Has anyone found a simple solution? I may end up just leaving the seat easy exit off, but I don't want to kill the seat bolster by getting in and out. And, what about the window. I'm curious if anyone has seen both problems. Sorry to but I would like to get these fixed and through my searching I didn't see where anyone had a Eureka moment.
Thanks!

Hmm... they could be unrelated or could be the DCM (door control module). I know the DCM controls both the power window and the power locks. Not sure if it handles the power seat memory too, but I suppose it might. It's pretty easy to replace. Just pop the door panel, unplug the harnesses, and unscrew it. Reverse the process to install the new one. Shop around, prices vary dramatically.

I'm really hoping I don't have to go thru 4 DCMs to figure out my problem.
Right now I'm trying the simple solutions.
